ABOUT “ALZIDA”

A closed joint – stock company “Alzida” was established in 1993 on the base of the National testing centre’s laboratory.
In year 1997 the laboratory was accredited according to requirements of EN 45001.
In year 2002 the laboratory was also accredited according to requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17025. In both cases “Alzida” was certified by the Lithuanian National Accreditation Bureau.
In year 2004 the laboratory was notified according to Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC.

The company is free – standing, financially and materially independent from producers, suppliers and consumers of building materials. Activity of the laboratory is clearly defined in the company’s statute and rules. The statute is dovetailed with the Lithuanian Standards Board.

Impartiality of our laboratory is ensured by such means:

• we are a free – standing closed joint – stock company;
• we do not have any subdivisions practicing production and trade of building materials;
• we do not advertise any building materials. The laboratory does also not participate in the seminars and promotional actions of other companies;
• the staff of the company does not hold office at any other companies related to production or trade of building materials.
